About Me
Hi! I’m Drew DeNardo, a technology leader with decades of successes at startups and large enterprises, including several with annual revenues in the billions of US$. I have a track record of building and running high-performing teams spanning engineering, QA, DevOps, and Agile & Lean processes in a wide range of industries including Medical Devices, FinTech, Telecomm infrastructure, MVNOs, Social Media, and AdTech. I am passionate about mentoring people at the manager and director levels, helping to build leaders who support the humans who deliver value for our businesses and delight our customers. I’m equally comfortable in the C-Suite, an IDE, and the data center.

Executive Director
Comcast's XFINITY brand is one of the largest Internet and TV providers in the world
Key Achievements
- Led team of 25 architects and analysts responsible for enterprise architecture, designs, and API contracts for a team of ~400 developers that built XFINITY's e-commerce platform
- Managed the turnaround of a team of ~120, raising their performance, reputation, and employee sentiment over 3 years
- Facilitated the expansion of newer technologies like graph databases, Python, and serverless cloud components through the organization

- Built web and mobile teams from scratch -- starting with zero employees, growing to ~80
- Established the organization's foundation agile processes and the Agile Excellence team
- Owned the on-the-ground technical relationship between Charter’s & Comcast’s respective MVNOs

MeetMe, Inc.

Key Achievements
- Led the Engineering team that delivered and operated a website and apps that supported over 1MM daily active users
- Authored and implemented processes that drastically reduced MeetMe’s number of emergency and maintenance releases for their mobile clients from 15 emergency patch releases in 2014 to 2 emergency patch releases in 2015
- Streamlined the code review process, leading to a 3x reduction in the average daily code review backlog, without compromising quality
- Developed a system based upon Amazon’s Redshift that provided MeetMe’s product team the capability to run daily and ad-hoc queries against a collection of hundreds of millions of end-user events

- Built Comcast's first internal Android Development team from scratch
- Team delivered Comcast's entertainment-related apps: XFINITY TV Remote, XFINITY TV Go, and XFINITY StreamTV
- Also managed the XFINITY MyAccount App team once it graduated from its incubator
- Assumed responsibility for the iOS team in 2014
